l z l l l i ... r .... 5 5. Preparing for the Big Event Homecoming is always a big event at Crowley High School and preparing for the big Friday is always a lot of fun. Each day was special and student participation was great. The classes decorated the halls to show school spirit and on Friday, the Sophomore's hall received the honors as being the best. There was the traditional parade and every facet of the school was represented. Each day marked a special eventg for instance, Nerd l'm impressed! Not bad for freshmen. Wouldn't you say? Day. Friday finally rolled around and the homecoming pep rally took place. lt was exciting, eventful and the stu- dent body showed lots of spirit. The homecoming king and queen can- didates were recognized as Crowley High watched as well as several citizens from Crowley and the surrounding areas. As Friday's school day drew to a close, everyone an- ticipated the footall game that was to take place that night. K Nerd day was yesterday? Seniors Larry Pate and Pete Gutierrez agree that it's okay to be yourself. Raise your hand if you're sure. Mike Everage gets high with a little help from his friends. Opening 7

8 Opening October 3, 1986, 7:30 P.M. The white Mercedes was waiting to take the traditional drive around the track. The crowd was on the edge of their seats awaiting the declaration of this yearls Homecoming King and Queen. The wait was over. Bryan Wright and Terry Savelle were an- nounced recipients of high school's most envied award, October 3, 1986, 8:00 P.M. The enthusiasm which had been culminating over the past week reached a climactic peak. The homecoming Parents and students attended the Homecoming game. Mark Filipek, Sr., and his date encourage the team. ,Q The Eagle Mascot, Danielle Mills, Jr., takes a break and visits during halftime. Coach Ray Jack and the Mighty Eagles ap- proach a tough game against Dennison Crowley lost 30 to 0. Eagle Pride crowd filled the stadium. Ex-students, students, faculty, administrators, parents, and future students watched the Eagles compete against Dennison, visited with friends, and enjoyed the Mighty Eagle Band's performance at half time. lt was a good game even though the Eagles lost 30 to 0. The clock ticked down and the crowd stood as the Alma Mater was played. Once again, all the past, present, and future students were proud to be Eagles.
