RCU D-LIP STAFF A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITORS Have our p1ctures come yet'7 When do we pay for our year books? Do you th1nk we'l1 get them earl1er th1s year? If we had recelved a n1ckel for each txme that we were asked one of these quest1ons, we'd be r1ch As a matter of fact we are r1cher, forthe questlons have expressed the true mterest of the students 1n regard to our 1954 Roundup Much of the respons1b1l1ty for the success of our yearbook has rested on our sponsor, Mrs Earl Manard She has tr1ed to add a b1t of or1g1nal1ty to th1s year's publ1cat1on, and when no one else has had an 1dea, she has usually 'turned up w1th one To Paul Cooper and Dav1d Jackson, our congratulatlons' They have proved to be execut1ve wh1zzes They kept brmgmg 1n money for advert1sements, and we kept addmg pages unt1lWe have made th1s the largest yearbook 1n the h1story of our school We w1sh to say thanks to our clrculatlon managers Mary Lynn Hough, sen1or M1ke W1shon, Jun1or B111 Halbert, sophomore and Patr1c1a Todd freshman They are cred1ted w1th sellmg cop1es to n1nety percent of our student body and faculty The1rs was a Job well done sk11l, and pat1ence The bus1ness men of Crowell Vernon, and Quanah responded wholeheartedly to our adver t1s1ng campalgn A few of the men asked for hand drawn p1ctures of the1r bus1ness estabhsh ments so we called on Chun Gafford, our art1st We th1nk he d1d a good Job don't you?
