The Spanish Club sponsored Penny Fair turned out to be a real swinging event. The fair helped raise money for the Mexico scholarships. Spanish Club Hard Work, un-numerable hours of time and the hot sun and blue sky's of Mexico as a goal combined into three Spanish scholar- ships. These scholarships enabled three Crow girls to enjoy five weeks of study in Saltillo, Mexico. Mrs. Dahlburg, Spanish Club advisor, enthusiastically organized assemblies and projects for the student body. Barbara Glover, posing as Madame G was one of the many money making attractions at the Penny Fair. Golly Mr West I don't know what happened to that ten dollars Y Cougar Tales business manager, Dan Crain, and advisor Mr. West, discuss the paper' s financial affairs. Come on you guys and get busy! I , snaps Editor Glenda Rackleff. Cougar Tales Controversial. Shocking. Stimulating. Boring. Frustrating. New. Rewarding Humorous. Different. Our new 4-page tabloid paper was all this and more. The staff members treated it as a child, filling with pride as it grew and flourished under their hard work and extra hours. A newspaper can never be truly appreciated until it is created with your own hands, Seniors fleft to rightj Pam Denker, Nancy Liles, Linda Jones and Linda Dillon converse about a story. The three man sports section John Huston, Lee Holly and Terry Thompson QBig TJ debate the possibility of a feature article. Terry Robertson, leadrnan in the fall play, Occur- ance at Owl Creek Bridge . Drama Club Using colored lights to their fullest dramatic effects the Drama Club presented the play An Occurrance at Owl Creek Bridge . The play in- volved the thoughts of a dying man while being hung. Mary Ann Thibault, narrator of the fall play discusses problems with Drama Club Advisor Mrs. Webb.
