This year tieing with Gilchrist 41-41. Rick Squires was the only Crow man to score a first. He put the shot 51 feet 11 inches to take first place honors. The team went undefeated this year with a 9-0 dual record and won the Trico- Relays for fifth straight year and District for the sixth year in a row. Five school records were broken by this year's spikers. The mile relay team of, Greg Canaday, Rick Squires, Steve Kilbreath and Glenn Higgins set a new record of 3:31. 3. Rick Squires set a new shot put record at 53 feet U2 inch. Steve Kilbreath ran the high hurdles in 14. 9 seconds which is an outstanding feat for a sophomore. The shuttle hurdle team of Steve Kilbreath, Noel Reece and Gary Purdy set the record during the Trico Relays at 36. 5 seconds. Also during the Relays, a shot put team of Rick Squires, Bill Marshall and Noel Reece set a new record of 128 feet 2 inches. 63
