Wayne Dey Bill Holly The seniors did an outstanding ' ! job this year, 72 of the 90 points ' W at the State meet were scored by seniors. Duane Inman took first in the 100, 220 and long jump. Also he placed second as a mem- ber of the 440 relay. Wayne Dey took two firsts, one in the mile and in the 880, He was followed in both races by Bill Holly taking second in both events, also Bill was on the third place mile relay team. ' -, lr - Gif wi V, al eas f Mike Nelson training for the Shot put' Harold throwing the Discus Crow's defending Champions again took first at State, this year scoring 90 points, the most any team has ever scored at State. Also the Cougars took the Trico Relays for the fourth consecutive year and District for the fifth year in a row. Three relay teams broke records this year. The 440 yard relay record was set at 44. 8 seconds, the mile relay record was set at 3 min. 33.9 sec. and the distance medley time was 10 min. 57.4 seconds. Crow had a 7-1 record this year, losing only to an A-2 school, Elmira, 67-69. The Cougars look forward to another successful season next year.

The cross country turnout was Crow's largest ever, this year having eleven harFiers on the team, Losing only three seniors, Wayne Dey, Bill Holly, and Don Cole, the Cougars look forward to another successful sea- son next year.
