Student Council The Student Council is the voice of the student body. Its purpose is to represent the students, and to get done what they would like to see done. The Student Council has tried to unite the student body and bring about a closer relationship between the students and the faculty. This year the Student Coun- cil realized there was a need for some form of com- munication between the students and faculty. They sponsored an open meeting, inviting all the faculty and the students, to express their views on the dress code. Very few de- cisions were made, but the students found they could talk to teachers about things they never could before. And the teachers found out that the students are young adults, not babies. 11
