Alas, Alas, That Great City Of -Babylon- For In One Hour-Thy Judgement Come Alas.'yUas, It's over; but the memory of this great production still lingers on in the heartsof those that $vere tljere to make it great. When the tim£arose, we came through; but this ability wouldn't have been brought out if we hadn't had the leadership, the showmanship, and the persuasive interests of Mr. Gar .Du Bois. Thanks Gary! We Thank the Student Council for the Foreign Exchange The first day in America, the first day at school —I'll never forget—it was strange - different - and I didn't know where to go nor what to do. The lan- guage was the greatest problem for me. But every- body was kind to me. Teachers, friends, and es- pecially my American family helped me a great deal to adjust to the new environment. As I was used to crowded people, I missed people. But I liked Michi- gan, Lake Huron, Cros-Lex High School, and the kind people. I enjoyed staying here very much. I'm glad I came to the United States. Someday in the future I'd like to come back again. When anyone of you have a chance to visit Japan, please let me know, I’ll be happy to see you again. Thank you everybody and God bless you. yia ko u i a 272 Nishinan, Hojo Kasai, Hyogo, Japan Ilio J 29
