Gill served for many years as secretary and member of the Board of Education of the Croswell-Lexington School District until his unexpected death in Janu- ary of 1967, and, Whereas, lie always conducted the duties of his position with honor and with diligence and willingly cooperated with the School Board and the teachers resulting in the greatest benefit for the citizens and stu- dents of the Croswell-Lexington School Dis- trict, and, Whereas, his untimely passing has brought sorrow to all members of the Cros- well-Lexington School Board and teaching staff—. 4
