Senior Play CURTAIN GOING UP! was the story of what happened behind the scenes of a play put on by the senior class of Riverview High School. The plot involved Mr. Carter, the journalism teacher, played by Fred Marengo, trying to get the attention of Miss Burgess, the dramatics teacher and director of the play, portrayed by Mary Beth McKim. Many hilarious and hectic things happened before the actual performance. The supporting cast were: Sandy Willis, as Lorry Fuller; Jo Hennika, Nancy Leverldge; Marcia Todd, Miss Caroly Moran; Pat Prichard, Miss Henrietta Rivers; Cora Scott, Elsie Hunter; Shirley Meyer, Sylvia Moore; Sue Bovee, Janet Young; Judy Blouin, Joan White; Carolyn Sturgeon, Kyle Roberts; Tom Aitken, Andy Fulbright; Doug Weaver, Jacko Guthrie; Mike James, Milt Sanders; Dick Gardner, Buck O'Hara; Alan Frost, Mr. Tony Peterson; and Ken Tate as Mr. Leveridge. The play was presented on December 11, by the senior class of the Cros-Lex High School, under the direction of Mr. Castle.
