New members were initiated in the school gym, October, 1949, with a to'al of 36 members in the club. One of the projects of the group was the dressing of dolls to be sent to Children's Hospitals. Flans are being made to take a trip to Lansing in May to visit the Home Economics department at Michigan State College. Meetings are held every two weeks in the Home Economics room Page 29

It was formed to encouroge students to have more interest in science. They have 1 3 members ond each member subscribes to a current science magazine. They sold Basketball Booster pins as one of their projects, and the money received was used for a dinner. Officers Are—President. George Benko Jr.; Vice President. James Aitken; Secretary. This year the membership has increased to eighty-two members. Their annual School Fair was held in the early fall, in which members bring farm products for display, which they have grown themselves.
