This year we have eighteen Librarians. They are: Carolyn Jenks, Maxine Chipman, Frelda Kramer, Shirley Oliver, Sylvia MoLane, Mary Ellen Kenney, Sue Cummings, Donna Rexford, Joan Mackleo, Marlon Kittle, Betty Camm, Shirley Elliott, Jeanette Dresser. Betty Ellis, Lois Soule, Marietta Coker, Wanda Twork. and Eleanor Miller. Miss Lautner has charge of the Library. We have added some new things to the Library this year. They are: the dally Detroit Free Press; the 194-7 edition of the Who's Who; Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature; Compton's Pictured Enoyolopedla Set with fourteen volumes; Popular Science Set; and forty new fiction books. On Wednesday, February 4, the Librarians held a Potluck dinner at noon in the dining room of the Home Economics Dept. Most of the Librarians and their sponsor, Miss Lautner, attended.

The C-Club was organized this year,and offloers were elected to handle the business of the Club. The officers are as follows: Gerald Farr, Pres- ident; Ted Rankin, Vice President; Bill Kerrigan, Secretary; and Alfred Bartly, Treasurer. The C-Club was organized for the purpose of creating better sportsman- ship and understanding or the Athletic Activities. The Club sponsors student assemblies and other athletic events during the year. They plan to bring In basketball teams,and they are also going to try to put on a boxing show.

The Vocal Class started the year with an extra large group of second semester students. The class has studied muslo appreciation of all types well ae baslo fundamentals which are neoessary for good muslo. The chorus entered many activities of the year lnoludlng singing at the State Convention of Women's Clubs at the Methodist Church. School Thanksgiv- ing Program, School Christmas Program, and Evening Concert. The ohorus also participated In the Variety Conoert and Music Week In May.
