Pnge Twenty trven Croswell Chapter, No. 51 of Future Farmers of America has had another busy year of achievement. VTith a membership greatly increased through the exten- sion of the agriculture course to include freshmen, the chapter has engaged in a number of interesting group activi- ties . Beginning with the harvest of the group project of sugar beets soon after school opened, the chapter carried on with sponsorship of the School and Community Fair, with a hybrid seed corn sale campaign and with various other activities. Pins denoting membership in the Green Hand and Chapter Farmer degrees were purchased, and at this writing plans were under way for the purchase of distinctive F. F. A. Jackets, partly with chapter funds. The chapter this year adopted the special award plan for Senior Class Ag students offered by the Ee Kalb Agricul- tural Association. Each year the outstanding Senior is to receive a medal and have his name engraved on a ten-year plaque to be kept permanently in the Ag department classroom. This year's recipient of the honor is George Gray, whose classwork, home project work and group leadership have combined to place him at the top of this year's graduating Future Farmers. Officersfbrthe current year are Ralph McNabb,President; George Gray, Vice-President: Gerald Farr, Treasurer; Stanley Jackman,Reporter; Robert Killer, Sentinel; and D. G. Rieman, Advisor.
