- BOARD OF EDUCATION- Seated: R. Hurley, L. Straffon, F. Fenton, L. Frostick. Standing: E. Hendry, S. Benjamin-Superintendent. A group which we hear so little about and which does so much is the Board of Education. Their chief purpose is to promote the best interests of the school. The work of the board consists of setting up general policies for the school and of the signing of bills and appropriating money. We are proud to say the school board is composed of some of the finest citizens of Croswell, and we wish to take this opportunity to pay them tribute. 1
