“
One Night I Had A Dream ... I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and across the sky flash- ed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to me, the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before us I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. I questioned the Lord about it, “Lord, You said that once 1 decided to follow you. You would walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why in times when I needed you most, You would leave.” The Lord replied, “My precious child, I would never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you.” 2 Contents i Opening...............................1 Seniors............................. 10 Underclassman ...................... 36 Faculty..............................47 Elementary...........................56 : Features.......................... 71 'Activities......................... 82 Sports...............................90 Band ...............................114 Awards..............................122 ! Now that our paths lead in separate ways, we will always cherish those footprints that were made at CHS I SPORTS Sports Hard work, effort, time, sweat, and dedication are just a few words to describe Crossville High School Sports. The lions, no matter what the sport, felt the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. The thing that we will remember most about CHS Sports are the footsteps that climbed straight to the top! BAND Firing up the pep rallies, highlighting the halftime during football games, playing in Springtime concerts, and selling buttons at May Day are just a few of the things we think of when Crossville High School Band is mentioned. As we look bck, we will alwys remember the footsteps of marching feet. UNDERCLASSMEN Underclassmen Juniors — the thrilling experience of getting their class rings and going to their first Prom, Sophomores — wishing they could go to the Prom, Freshmen — finally getting a title, 7th and 8th Graders — wanting to be at least a Freshman are just a few feelings that the Underclassmen have while they are stepping on up. ELEMENTARY “ Elementary Learning how to stand in line, mastering their multiplication tables, trying to grow up too fast, finally getting to go to a 6th Grade prom, and dreaming they were in high school are just some wishes of the little people that we hear pitter- pattering down the hall.
