Three years of study and work on the part of the faculty were brought to a climax last October 8 through 11 when the visiting committee made up of the top educators in the state, came to spend four days in our school. They had the responsibility of evaluating the effectiveness of our school program as to how well it meets the needs of this community. It was a very rich experience for everyone and much good was accomplished. In December our application for membership in the Southern Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges was favorably accepted and we became fully accredited by this association. This is the highest rating that can be attained by a high school in our state.
