XX Mr, Banks' pigs. 31 I -1 T T 1 72? -Q 1 3 ' V. 3 77155 Mr. Banks We thought it would be interesting and good exercise, as well as beneficial to learn- ing self-defense. These are the reasons Daryn Clark and Mike Chisholm give for taking iudo and Tae Kwon Do for one and a halt years. They have become second degree brown belts. They have participated in judo tournaments and ranked high in their divisions. Mike and Daryn hope to proceed to Black Belts and later instruct classes them- selves. Ninety-six little piggies went to market . . is Mr. James Banks' version of the nursery rhyme. Mr. Banks is a modern day replica ot Old MacDonald. He has assorted farm animals such as chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and pigs. These tine friends ot his roam over a forty- acre farm in Warren. Opening - 5

A-Opening Mark Young, the Bobin Hood of CHS, spends a great deal ot time in the woods. But he is not chasing Maid Marion or forming revolutions against the kingdom, rather, Mark bow hunts. That is the only thing that Mark has in common with the green hero of Sherwood forest, Mark has picked up bow hunt- ing as a hobby. As a result of his practicing, Mark has become rather good at it. He has won several tournaments around the state of Arkansas. Besides bow- ing for trophies, Mark also goes out during the bow season for many game such as deer and turkey. The Houdini of CHS, Brett Boyer, enthralls his audiences with his magical ability. Brett, a senior, has been interested in magic since about the age of 12, when he got a magic kit tor Christmas. Brett has always been inspired by Houdini and all his books and tricks. He orders his tricks from Little Rock, but improvises them to his own liking. It was one day up on top ot his mountain when coon huntin' wasn't doing very well that Mr. Cecil Bitter just picked up a block of wood and began to Whittle. Ever since that time Mr. Rit- ter has whittled objects that have taken upto as long as tour hours. One ot his favorite articles to work on is the gun, Mr. Bitter Mark Young shows his trophies, bow, and arrows. Brett Boyer demonstrates his magic. Several objects whittled by Mr. Ritter
