Mr. and Miss CHS '79 tg .ia CROIZQZCI Jlffatgansy Mr. CHS of 1978-79 Ftonald Matheney has been very active in athletics for several years. He played football for tour years, set numerous records in track, and played basketball. ln the fall of 1977, Ronald won the decathlon in Russellville. Ronald is also a member of FCA and FBLA. He has plans to serve God as a minister for his lifetime occu- patlon. Qfafazia Miss Valerie Kidd has devoted much of her high school years playing in the CHS Band. Other than band, Valerie is also a mem- ber of FHA, FBLA, and Varsity Choir. Valerie is well known through- out the school for the stylish clothes she wears. Ooh's and ah's are often heard when she walks the halls of CHS. Activities - 27

Eaglettes decorate the auditorium for the Homecoming assembly, A papier-mache Snoopy made by the Art Club. ' The NHS cheerleaders make decorations for the field.

28 - Activities Seniors of Distinction .,,,-av-'K Bonnie Leonard Bonnie Leonard is a member of Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society. She has been a member of Kantorei tor two years and was pianist her senior year. Bonnie also enjoys teaching and taking dancing les- sons. Seth Coulter Athletics takes up much of Seth Coulter's time. He has played football, basketball, and participated in track for the past four years. Seth is also a Fire Mar- shall, vice-president of the Student Council, a member of Mu Alpha Theta, FCA, National Honor Society, and the Mens Service Club. ...xy Fionaio' ilriatheney Ronald Matheney has played football for four years. He is also in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has surrendered his lite to the ministry. Ronald also runs track and is a member of FBLA.
