Today most of us are enjoying the now and ignoring the then. Somea day we will be doctors, lawyers, teachers, minis- ters, businessmen, and homemakers. We will be successes and we will be failures. And a few dec- ades from now we will be old. Some of us will see our dreams maferial- ize and grow, others will become a little ifnical and blame the world for our sorrows. ln the meanwhile and after, we'll pause to reminisce over many things. But one thing is certain, we shall always remember CHS as a part of our life where we helped to move freedom forward through our education. This year's edition of the Termite high- lights some of the many activities of the Crossett schools that are important factors in developing the well-rounded student and in building the American way of life. Once again it is a real pleasure to congratulate the staff and sponsor on a iob well done. sincerely, M. H. This is your book-a pictorial record of your classes and your school lite. It is not easy to show the true spirit of CHS in words and pictures. But we hope that in later years, as you look through this Termite, that it will serve as a pleasant reminder ot happy days spent at CHS during the school year, 1956-1957. The staff has chosen as the theme for this edition, Moving Freedorm Forward Through Education. With this as our theme, we have tried to show CHS-students, faculty, and activities-and their part in moving freedom forward. We appreciate the help and untiring efforts of our sponsor and photographer, and the support and co-operation of our advertisers and the student body.
