She is a senior and represented Drama Club. Her talent was an exerpt from the play Echoes. Maria was also chosen 1980-81 Miss Congeniality. Miss Lynn McCarthy was third runner up to Miss Cross Keys. She is a senior and represented Chorale. She sang Mary's Song for her talent. Lynn also won the 1980-81 talent award. The second runner up to Miss Cross Keys was Miss Betsy Handmaker. She is a senior and represented Fashion Team. Her talent was a take off from Edith Ann. Erica Thornton was the fourth runner up. She is the lone junior in the five finalists and represented the Chieftain Staff. Erica's talent was from the movie Funny Girl, the song Secondhand Rose.
