Eighth Grade Shows Promise This year's eighth grade football team surpassed last year's record with hard work and sheer determination. A 31-7 win over Briarcliff, an Avondale forfeit, a 21-20 victory over Druid Hills, and a 13-0 rout of Gordon have given this year's team the best eighth grade record in quite sometime. Even in their two loses to undefeated Sequoyah and Chamblee, much praise has been placed on them not only by Coach O'NeiIl and Coach Jones, but by other team coaches as well. They all cite a great attitude as the main factor for this year's improvement. 34 mm, vf 7 I -Q 5 ,Q -..fu Q 1-nv V' '47, , ' , K ' s s qv' - : f ' , Wg fffi.-:ff-,L :v'e2,f-L sa as .I .E F j ,J fi any ,4 f ,f My W I W9 K, ff , ff If in 'K gp? i 3, K - , 2 5 i W f f 'V Q 'Nfl 5 if 4 , ' 4 f W f fm f ff? , 'sw Q1 I f Q, 4 H -.. , ' K A 1 Y , ' ..
