CHEERLE DERS Varsity Boosts Spirit This year the cheerleading squad has gotten oft to a good start. During the summer they attended cheerleading camp at the University of South Alabama where they received one red ribbon for excellence, three blue ribbons for superior, a super-star ribbon and two spirit sticks. The summer captains were Mary Beth Campbell and Jan Newman. The football captains for this year were Jackie Jones and Bonnie Shapiro. They did a great job getting cheers and stunts lined up for football season. For basketball season, the squad of twenty girls break up into squads of ten girls. The basketball captains tor red squad are Aimee McDannaId and Jan Newman. The white squads are Donna Wright and Jackie Jones.
