I am new and find it much more exciting than working at Georgia State. I find Cross Keys especially interesting because of the wide range and mixture of the student body here. I think a student who is part of such a varied group has a more realistic view of society, as opposed to someone who attends a school where most of the students have somewhat the same background. Besides being new and having so many things to learn, putting in a new detection system has made this year especially interesting for me and the whole staff. MRS. Mrs. Reynolds, the bookkeeper, has faithfully stayed with Cross Keys since it opened in 1958. She stayed home for ten years to raise her two children before coming to Cross Keys. She began here as a volunteer worker before being offered a permanent iob as bookkeeper, Mrs. Davidson has been here for ten years. She first served as counseling secretary and then she was moved to the library. Afterwards she went back to the counseling office to become registrar where she has remained for the past three years. Mrs. Maupin has worked as secretary to Mr. Harris for six years. Before coming here, she worked as secretary to a school superintendent. Then she went to North Fulton High School and to Morningside Elementary School. She has one son, Andy Maupin, who just recently graduated. Finally we come to Mrs. Barton, the attendance secretary, who has been with Cross Keys for a full three years. She has two beautiful daughters, one of whom attends this school and is in the eighth grade.
