LIFE AN TYLES GF I98O-Sl Each year fads come and go. Clothing styles change, and as they change, they change the way we look. We thought it would be interesting and different to give you a look at what we actually wore through this exciting year - some was good and some was silly, but it was all fun and stylish! Cowboy hats and boots were big this year. This popular style was brought about mainly by the movie Urban Cowboy. Overalls, Levis and many different designer jeans such as Sassoons, Gloria Vanderbilts and Calvin Kleins were part of an everyday wardrobe. For some strange reason, a look called prep came about, and suddenly nearly everyone was wearing button-down collars, khaki pants and docksiders to school - a real clean-cut look. The popular tennis shoes, Nikes, Pro Keds, and Adidas, and casual shoes were Ioafers and flip-flops. It was a great year for fashion, and a super year for school ! as f WM W .
