For the first time Cross Keys entered a one-act play in the State competition. Due to the hard work of the cast and the wonderful direction of Mrs. Peggy Childs and Mr. Tom Langston the play won first place in the region and third in the State. Not only did the cast devote much of its time to the play, but the stage crew also worked hard and did a tremendous job.
