FOR THE FUTURE 1 The Future Homemakers of America Club provides an opportunity for girls in- terested in honiemakuig as a career to prac- tice old skills, as well as to acquire new ones. However, the club is not only for those who plan to major in home eco- nomics, but also those who want to com- bine fun and fellowship with learning and service. The Future Teachers of America Club develops an interest in teaching as a career. F.T.A. members strive to recog- nize the responsibilities and opportunities of teaching. The F.T.A. is under the di- rection of Miss Jane W. Herndon. The Allied Medical Careers Club de- velof s an interest in nursing as a career and also provides information about other areas connected with this field.
