ENTHUSIASTIC STAFF WORKS TO PRODUCE f Making an annual involves hundreds of extra hours of work and lost sleep. Head- lines, pictures, identifications, layouts, and numerous other details must be attended to before a single deadline can be met. A staff member learns to accept general panic as a matter of course! The CHIEFTAIN staff, however, is an enthusiastic group of people, and it gen- uinely enjoys its work, and that makes the worry, tears, and frenzy worthwhile. The sponsor, Miss Baldwin, although new at annual business, also spent many precious Saturdays at school working. The most important member, however, is the wonderful photographer, Rodney Hilton, whose work cannot be measured in mere hours. Now that the book is finished, the staff wishes to thank all those who helped us so much, and to express again our sin- cere hope that the CHIEFTAIN fulfills its purpose and portrays Cross Keys 1963. COMPOSITION STAFF, FIRST ROW: Linda Green, Nancy Bartholomew, Ty Lattimer. SECOND ROW: Glenda Green, Joy Clark, Patsy Welborn, Rosanne Biegeleisen, Genie Ward, Gail Farmer, Linda Kemph, Sharry Timraing, Dianne Howard, Coy Berry, Carolyn Mann, Jan O ' Brien, Sandy Floyd. BUSINESS STAFF, FIRST ROW: Carol Simmons, Ann Cook, Shirley Carder, Janet Florence, Meta Smith.
