DRAMA SPEECH Presents The Miracle Worker The Drama1Speech Club presented The Miracle Worker b William Gib- son on December 15, 1386. This was presented in a three act play. The play is based on the life stor o Helen Keller, played by Lea Angel Crawford, who struggled to overcome physical handicaps as well as the overbearing protection of her parents. The parents were played by Matt Forester and Kenya Sanders. Ka Karnes played the role of Anne Sullivan who helped Helen overcome her han- dicaps. Other members of the cast were: Shirley Wells, Allen Moody, Gary Schoonover, David Brooks, Sonya White, Patricia Hicks, lsai' Wells, Melody Crumley, Sus Mullins, and Connie Bown. Offsta voices were Mike Davis, Dav Brooks, and Gary Schoonover. T play was a great success for t playgoer and cast alike. T DramafSpeech Club plans a seco production by Neil Simon entitl Barefoot in the Park to presented in the spring. This is t second year for Dramatic Arts a Speech at our school and Mrs. Jon has done a fantastic job at getting t program started.
