During the year Bobby Tucker, Shelby Hughes, Jerry Lamb, Katie Webb, Jean Lamb, Mary Chaney, and Barbara Hembree joined our basketball team. At the last of the year, we lost five of our members. A year completed, we were now Sophomores. Two members were elected to Student Council: Peggy Dobbins, and Bobby Tucker who was later chosen as Secre- tary-Treasurer. This year John Brown joined the basketball team, of which Bobby Tucker was captain. Five of our boys were elected as FFA officers and three girls to JHA offices. During the last semester Katie Webb, Barbara Lawson, and Bar- bara Hembree were asked to join the Beta Club. At the last of the year we lost two more members. Now we are Jolly Juniors . On October 14, the ring man came. We have ordered the 'raditional rings with red stones. This year we welcome two new mem- bers. We are sorry to lose Bobby Waldrep to the Air Force. Peggy Dobbins joined our Beta Club. We are glad to have officers in the Girls' Chorus, Student Librarian Club, Paper Staff, Dramatics Club, Annual Staff, and Student Council. George Glenn, Jr., won a trip to Chicago for showing his cow at the fair. Bobby was again chosen as captain of the basketball team, and Barbara Hembree, co-captain of the girls' team. It has been fun so far, and we are looking forward to our Senior year. ll fx .rf fwfff Betty Ann Hembree Julian Fincher cnior Supcrlatizfcs MOST INTELLECTUAL 2,f.M., J - , 1 - Y .7 ' : r Q . 1, 4 ff fn ., , -I '-Mi.
