Nettie Letitia Tucker JHA Member l Basketball l 2 3 Usher at Beta Play Commencement Singin L 'Fun mixed with Anowledge Makes a well rounded gir W Byron Kenneth Webb F-FA121ss3h Baseball 2 3 Representative to District Forum Beta Club 3 Student Council M Editor in Chief Annual The Senior Story Bobby Joe Wofford Basketball 1 2 ISS 1 2 FFA2314- Boy Scout In September,19 7, a group of twenty two green Freshmen assembled at Cross Anchor High School During this year we had a JHA play through which the proceeds were used for group of Junior Homemakers to attend the JHA camp at Ocean Drive The next year our envied goal was reached Sophomores During this year a group of FFA boys went to FFA camp t Myrtle Beach This year our class also attended the State Fair The next year we assembled again as Juniors We were growing higher and beginning to feel a little important now, especially when we prepared for the Junior Senior Banquet After the banquet we enjoyed dancing and games in the gym what a grand occasion, with our long dresses and beaus! Later in this grade some members of our class along with the Seniors took a trip to Nashington Then, in September 1950 a happy class of twenty gathered for our last year We were Seniors and looked as though we had no care or worry Then came our rings How excited and happy we were! As the year rolled on, our class with the hel of Mr Poole, organized a Student Council for our school with six Seniors as members At Christmas the Senior Betas pre sented a play 'Home for Christmas'. Then our star grew bright er--Basketball Tournament, Beta Convention, senior Play, Wash- ington trip, Invitations and caps and gowns! We were at last to the end of our trip.
