-W Just Think these may be the best year of your 1981 I Maroon Memoirs . Divide County High Scl ?l Crosby, North Dakota None knows the day that friends must part. None knows how near is sorrow; If there be laughter in your heart. Don’t hold it for to-morrow. Smile all the smiles you can today; Grief wait for all along the way. To-day is ours for joy and mirth: We may be sad to-morrow; Then let us sing for all we’re worth. Nor give a thought to sorrow. None knows what lies along the way; Let’s smile what smiles we can to-day. Together we have climbed the mountains of life. We are called inseperable. but we know different. Our lives are leading us down two different paths. We will always be close, but not always together. You have been a helping hand through many try ing times I hope that I have helped you. but 1 know that sometimes I haven't. The waves of time leave traces of memories. Some are best forgotten, but all are treasured. After four short years, we are leaving DC Sometimes it’s a relief, but it also brings a tear We the class of 1981 starting 9m on our ow n. Sometimes we will fail, but we will always follow our dreams. Now it is time that we all say good-bye. We are going out to make new memories, but these were the best of times. Happiness is like a butterfly ... the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it comes and softly sits on your shoulder. I FAREWELL NOW, MY FRIEND I love you, my friend you’re quite dear to me, A true friend you are and always will be. But you’re leaving me soon and going your own way, Perhaps we will meet in the future some day. You’ve left me with memories, of good times we’ve had. To treasure forever and make me feel glad. I wish you good luck in all that you do. May all of life’s pleasures come your way too. Farewell now, my friend and please may you find, Some thoughts of me Always in your mind. People we know and people we knew. Growing together then drifting apart. Always an end, and now a new start. At graduation we all grow nearer And all of our friends seem so much dearer. And as we say our final good-bye. One last hug and one more cry. A Keep in touch” and a “Promise I will”, A “Remember when .. but, better still, A place in my heart, you’ll always stay, This is what is said as we go our own way. — Sherry Denny — It isn’t ever the same In time. An extra thank you to the few who worked many long hours to bring this book to you. .
