Their float with the slogan Let's be on Top won the first prize in the float contest. They put on their first play, an overwhelming success, entitled The Little Dog Laughed”. They worked long and hard planning and decorating for the junior-senior prom, which was one of the most beautiful the school has ever had. 24 c chofarfp Sophomores Left to Right, 1st ROW; Mrs. Larsen, Adv., J. With the return of 14 lettermen and being the NW Conference Champs, the 1965 season was begun with high hopes of making us Champs two years in a row. As the season progressed however, it was seen that a tough road was before us. The season was begun with the toughest of competition in the team that eventually was crowned the State Champs and it was ended with a season full of many satisfactions. The kids played hard and ended with a 4-4 record. However, with good, hard, spirited work the year ended far from this. They became a team that gave 15070, was full of hustle and exciting to watch, good enough to battle the best, but were hurt with hard luck in losing many close games. N. Dak's Dream of Coaches, Art Hovde of Minot, said Crosby is no doubt the most improved team in the NW Region and anyone who plays them is in for a tough test. Congratulations team of 65-66.
