For the third consecutive year, the Class of '62 had the winning float with the theme of Captain Hook and the Pirates. After the parade, a pep rally was held around the bonfire. The homecoming game was played against the Tioga Pirates with the Maroons victorious by a score of 47-0. The theme of the homecoming dance was Football Carousel. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Gary Kroshus and Gail Points as king a d queen. FOOTBALL CAROUSEL CHRISTMAS FORMAL “WONDERLAND BY NIGHT” Wonderland By Night was the theme of the annual Christmas Formal sponsored by the Senior Class. Alumni and students of Crosby High danced to the music of the Frank Parks orchestra. SWEETHEARTS BALL The Sweethearts Ball was a FFA-FHA party and was sponsored by the FHA. The evening included entertainment, coronation of a king and queen of hearts, and dancing. Mervin Olsen and Claudia Gilbertson were crowned King and Queen of Hearts. Mervin was chosen by members of the FHA, and Claudia was chosen by the FFA members. After long hours of planning and hurried hours of working in order to meet deadlines, the staff completed what they hoped would be the best annual Crosby High has ever had.
