SPIRIT WEEK THE HALLS OF CHS WERE ALIVE WITH THE SOUNDS AND THE VISIONS OF THE INTERNAL SPIRIT OF OUR SCHOOL. ONCE EACH FALL THE CHEERLEADERS SPONSER SPIRIT WEEK. DURING THIS WEEK EACH CLASS IS ASKED TO BECOME ACTIVE IN PROMOTING SCHOOL SPIRIT. ON THESE PAGES YOU WILL WITNESS SOME OF THE COMPETITION BETWEEN THE CLASSES. AS THEY ATTEMPT TO PROVE THAT THEIRS IS THE MOST SPIRITED CLASS IN THE SCHOOL. EACH CLASS WAS ASKED TO DECORATE THEIR HALLS IN THE MOST IMAGINATIVE AND INGENIOUS METHOD POSSIBLE. EACH CLASS WAS ASKED TO PARTICIPATE IN EACH OF THE DRESS UP DAYS. A COUNT WAS TAKEN EACH DAY TO DETERMINE HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS EACH CLASS HAD. AT THE END OF THE WEEK A PEP ASSEMBLY WAS HELD TO WHICH TIME AN ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE CONCERNING WHICH CLASS HAD BEEN THE MOST ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN THE SPIRIT WEEK ACTIVITIES. THIS YEAR S MOST SPIRITED CLASS WAS THE CLASS OF EIGHTY SIX! THE SPIRIT WEEK ACTIVITIES WERE CULMINATED BY ONE OF THE LARGEST AND MOST SPIRITED CROWDS IN HISTORY OF CHS FOOTBALL. ALTH-OUGHT THE CERAMICS LOST A HEARTBREAKING ONE POINT DECISION TO ARCH RIVAL PHILO, THE SPIRIT AND DETERMINATION OF OUR TEAM AND OUR SCHOOL WAS NOT DAMPENED. 20

GOOD TIMES AT CHS. WE ARE PLEASED TO SHARE WITH YOU SOME OF THE EXCITING THINGS THAT GO ON HERE AT CHS. IF YOU’RE LUCKY WE MAY EVEN SHARE SOME OF THE NOT SO EXCITING THINGS AS WELL. YOU WILL SEE OUR STUDENTS AS THEY PERFORM THEIR EVERYDAY TASKS. AS WELL AS. SOME OF THEIR AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. YOU WILL SHARE WITH THEM THEIR JOYS. THEIR SORROWS, SUCCESSES AND FAILURES. THE GOOD TIMES, THE BAD TIMES AND SOME OF THE MOMENTS THAT THEY WILL CHERISH THROUGH THE YEARS. WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US NOW AS WE WALK THE HALLS AND THE GROUNDS OF GOOD OLD CHS.WE HOPE THAT THE THINGS WE SHOW YOU WILL REMAIN WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND WILL BECOME SOME OF YOUR MOST PRIZED MEMORIES.ENJOY THE TRIP WITH US. 19
