CROOKSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL Crooksville, Ohio CRUX-HI-SKAN Jim Probasco, Editor We, the senior class of Crooksville High School, would like to dedicate the 1966 Crux-Hi Skan to the teachers who have helped us through four of the most important years of our life. They have been a constant source of help and guidance throughout our years at Crooksville High School. These teachers have given a part of themselves to each of us in return for which they only ask us to learn. We feel that we owe them a deep debt of gratitude for all they have done for us. FOREWORD The staff of the 1966 Crux-HiSkan hopes that this yearbook will recall all the events of the past school year at Crooksville High School. To the seniors it will be filled with memories of our last four years in high school. With it we can always remember our days at C.H.S. To the underclassmen it will serve as a scrapbook of events of the past year. It will also serve, we hope, as a guide, so that the seniors of future years will continue to set high standards for Crooksville High School. To everyone else we hope it will tell of the life here at C.H.S. With these ideas in mind we would like to give you the 1966 Crux-Hi Skan. 3 2 Dedication 33 Undergrads 3 Foreword 57 Activities 7 Administration 73 Sports 11 Faculty 95 Humor 17 Seniors 99 Advertising 5 ADMINISTRATION BOARD OF EDUCATION CLOCKWISE: Mr. Fred Piccone, Mr. Ray Tolley, Mr. Delmar Hoops, Mrs. Myrtle Lawrence, Mr. Carl Hughes, Dr. George Tedrow, and Mr. Chester Leasure. The Board of Education is a group of Crooks-ville citizens whose job is to make the rules and regulations of all the Crooks-ville schools. It is through the efforts of the Board of Education that our system is efficient and well run throughout the year. 8 SUPERINTENDENT For fifteen years Mr. Worthington has been Superintendent of the Crooksville Schools. He has worked very hard to make the schools a better place in which to learn. During his administration, we have seen our high school grow rapidly in both size and education. We have one of the newest gyms in our area and a science department that is one of the most well equipped around. The grade schools have been remodeled and equipped to accommodate the growing number of pupils. We think that Mr. Worthington has done a very good job of keeping our school system well balanced and wish to express our deepest gratitude for all the hard work and effort he has given to us. 9 PRINCIPAL Mr. Null has been at C.H.S. just one year. In that one year he has been very active in running the high school and helping to guide the pupils through the everyday problems of school life.
