EMERGENCY 0 , CROOkSVILLE FIRE DEPT We dedicate the 1961 Crux-Hi-Skan to the Crooksville Emergency Squad, in recognition of their great services to this community. For many years, the squad has rushed to the scene of any accident, night or day, and given of their well-trained services. Many residents of Crooksville owe their lives to the prompt action of the volunteers in this group. George Brannon James Matheny During this past year the squad lost two of its members, George Brannon, killed at his job, and James Matheny, killed in the line of duty with the Emergency Squad. Words do not always come easily to express gratitude, but we hope that by our dedication of this book, we can express our thanks to the members of this great organization. 2
