Class Motto To Keep Learning ls To Keep Growing. That's What Education ls All About. i- , EY. KE- 53 1 Q. 5? 4 P Last Will and Testament We, the Senior Class of l960, of Crooksville High School, being of sound mind and memory, so we think, do make and declare this to be our Last Will and Testament. ITEM I To the addle-brained, dim-witted, childish, insignificant little juniors, we say, We hope you can achieve at least one- tenth the success your heaven-born predecessors achieved. To anyone interested we let you know that we think we are the most intelligent, the hardest working, the best looking, and the best behaved class ever to graduate. Nothing is too good for us. To assist you in the achievement we leave you the following suggestions which we have so admirably practiced in attaining our dignity . I. Study hard for at least four hours every day so that you may be the second most brilliant class ever to graduate from Crooksville High School. We are the first. 2. Never loaf in study halls. Follow our example. 3. Address your teachers with respect, for, after all, they are iust like great-grandparents to us. 4. Da as we have done, and success will be yours without a doubt. ITEM ll To the iunior boys we express our sincere regret that all of the beautiful girls are graduating. By the way, junior girls, what will you do with all of us handsome boys gone? But this is iust another problem that faces this younger generation. ITEM lll To the high school we bequeath the following: l. We leave bars for all the windows of the school iust to give the place more natural atmosphere. 2. We leave a better lighting system. Too many students are in the dark. I 3. We leave an elevator to the second floor, so that Miss Dillehay's poor victims will not be so tired that they can't put up a good battle. ITEM IV To the various departments we bequeath the fol lowing: I. To the biology class we leave iuicier and bloodier worms. 2. To the chemistry class we leave a bomb-proof shelter and a few gas masks. 3. To the library we leave l,OO0 funny books and the True Detective Nlagazine. 4. To the history class we leave Marlin Bush's little book with telephone numbers iust in case they have to get some dates in a hurry. 5. To the drum players and horn tooters of the school band we leave a sound-proof room in the middle of the Sahara Desert. 6. To the English class we leave the book entitled The Works of William Milkshake. They should eat this up even though it is pretty thick. - ITEM V To the various teachers of the school we bequeath the following: l. To Miss Dillehay we leave a car and chauffeur during the winter months. 2. To Miss Coulter we leave our sympathy. Never again will she have such a beneficial, faultless, and industrious class. We couldn't help it if we were so perfect. , 3. To Nr. Larry Wilson we leave a band that won't talk, won't chew gum, will keep their feet on the floor, and will come to band practice. 4. To Mr. Conley we can only leave memories of the most co-operative and efficient class he has ever slave-driven. 5. To Mr. James Wilson we leave a couch so that he can better psychoanalyze next year's mixed-up senior class. ITEM VI The following individuals bequeath these possessions to their friends: I, Linda Sparks, leave my original hairdos to Linda Russell. Paula Trussell, leave my clothes to Darlene. She wears them all anyway. Peggy Hinkle, leave my ability to please Miss Dillehay to Judy Donaldson. I, Judy Ebaugh, leave to Roger Cope a Hands Off sign, in hopes that he will use it next year.
