The band has left the field and the alumni cheerleaders, Sue Lacy and Lois Welch, are leading the crowd in a cheer. Sue has married a millionaire and lives in a big two room shack in the heart of Rendville. Lois is also married and living in Ironspot raising her own squad of cheerleaders--- Rahmita, Sisbooma, and Bah. The audience is giving the alumni team a big hand. Some of the excited rooters in the stands are Emma Jean Cook and Karen Bates, who are now running a rest home for men between the ages of 21 and 35. Sitting beside them is Pat Klinger, who is a private secretary for the Huckleberry Hound Studios at which Carol Whitehouse is the head cartoonist. We have with us today two very talented and famous ballet dancers from New York City--- Janice Russell and Ethel Watts. We see also that Denver Frash is able to be here today. Denver, now a fabulous jockey, and his spirited horse, Duke, are known all over the world. Last, but not least, in the audience, we have Jerry Dozer, who has just broken the world record in weight lifting. Taking tickets at the gate is Gary Zinn, who has just replaced Mr. Sexton as math teacher at C. H. S. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you have enjoyed the pre-game high-lights of the '59 Alumni-Varsity football game. This is Ben Neff, your sports announcer, signing off. Before going on with the game, I would like to leave this thought with you-- If you don't drive, walk—but if you're driving, watch out for the children; they're terrible drivers. Prophecy November 10, 1969 This is Ben Neff, your sports announcer, bringing you the pre-game high-lights of the annual alumni-varsity football game between the team of 1959 and the team of 1969. As the teams are going through their pre-game warm up exercises, let's take a look at some of the members of the alumni football team. One of the co-captains, Roy Hammer, is now head basketball coach at Roseville High School. He seems to be doing very well; so far they've won one game out of thirty-six. Next in line is Jack Hughes, who spends all his time playing golf in hopes that he might be President someday. The 59'ers star player, Rick Murphy, is now modeling men's clothing for Vogue Magazine. Bill Talbot, one of the starting tackles, seems to be making news headlines now that he is editor of his paper—The Times Revu. There's a player who is a big help to the team, Tom Mealick. Tom and his old buddy, Dick Cook, have established the Perfume Company of Forbidden Scents. Starting backfield. Bob Jackson, and his wife, Mickey, are now residing in Hollywood, where their son Joey is starring in the new motion picture, My Enemy Joey. The band is now lining up at the goal post. Forming the first rank are the alumni band members. Marlene Thomas, the star trumpet player, has replaced Louie Armstrong on ABC Television. Sharon Poole is next in line. She has just finished beauty school and is settling down to the beauty of marriage. The 1958 Homecoming Queen, Marga McKeever, has just been crowned Miss America. The Stoin twins, Merlin and Harlan, who are also members of the band, are now battling against each other on the new TV show. Brain to Brain. Do you remember Connis Felske and Lucy Harding ? They are now making big connections—for the Ohio Bell Co. Larry Holcomb has organized his own rock and roll combo with Robert Filkins as his bass player. They will star on the Dick Clark show Saturday night. As left guide we have Tam Reed, who is putting her height to work as a model. While the band is playing the Star Spangled Banner, let's take a look at the audience and see if we can find some of the members of the class of '59. There are a couple of familiar faces, Letha and Lelia Burns. They both have a set of twins of their own now. Who's that sitting next to them ? Why it's Jim Lee! He can be seen speeding down the highway often—as a patrolman. There's three good looking young men. Bill Allwine, Don Talbot, and Dee Buckley. They have started an escort service in Roseville and are open for business 24 hours a day. 18
