They were chosen by the members of the club a few weeks earlier. New PEP CLUB officers for 1958-59 pictured here are, left to right: Betty Io Booker, Secretary- Treasurerg Mary Litsey, Presidentg and Judy Kelly, Vice-President. 70e,4Zw4q47faaecm5 ' From the looks of this picture, it seems as if the OAKETTE PEP CLUB Banquet held at Capitol Hill Cafe- teria on April 29, 1958, was a riot. Everyone had plenty to eat and much to talk about. The banquet was the annual banquet honoring the new cheerleaders and officers for the com- ing school year. They are chosen by the members of the PEP CLUB and are in charge of the assemblies and cheering sections at ballgames. 'IH iffy The annual BAND Banquet was held on April 18, 1+ is in the school cafeteria. Bervin Murray and Gene lxlantlrell are admiring the new red and white hand uniforms, which will he worn for the first time next year. This will be a great change from the maroon and gray of previous years. A magic show called The Night Mystery sponsor- ed by the Band Parents' Club, was given March 24, 1958, to help raise money for new uniforms, instru ments and music.
