In 1956, the Crooked Oak Roughneck Baseball Team started slowly, losing to Yukon, 4-7: Choctaw, 0-'7g Bethany, 0-11: Moore, 3-45 Casady, 4-'75 and Lexington, 3-5. At the end of the season, Coach Graham discovered a new pitcher, Donald Henry, who showed his skill by bringing in three wins: Casady, 6-55 Classen, 7-33 and Harrah, 6-5. wade The advanced home economics classes held a late Easter Parade and very aptly called it Fashions on the Go. The girls modeled frocks which they had made during the year with everything being shown from aprons to shortie-pajamas. Members of the P. T.A. agreed that this year's show was one of the best presented at Crooked Oak. .1 Pictured above are Pat Long and Doris Cuddeback admiring the lovely dresses they made. These talented musicians, direc festivals this spring at Edmond, in their classg at O.C.U., where rating. The brass quartet played Lento at the annual spring band con- cert. Its members were: Wayne O'Berg, Jerry Mowery, Bryan Corey, and Lewis Blair. During the year our band attended contests at Moore and Edmond. They marched in parades at Norman and Lawton, and pro- vided loyal support at our football games. M
