The Alumni was represented during half-time ceremonies by former football queens and their escorts. Pictured here are Virginia Speer, Al Snaw- der, Bob Craft, Shirley Lynn, Mary Helen Rose, John Ben- neft, Arlet Costner, and Mr. Costner. The spotlight was turned to Dorothy Pendley when she was crowned Football Queen for the i954 season by Team Captain, Bob Orr. Mascots, Gayle Ann Burton, Carolyn Wynns, and Cindy Parker seem to be wondering why Bob Orr and Dorothy Pendley are so sad. Could it have been because we were on the short end of the halftime score? The score, as shown on the new Crooked Oak Scoreboard, was not indicative of the way our team played bull during the homecoming football game between Crooked Oak and Northeast High School. 3lI 1 4 l
