Class advisors were Mrs. Fdwards and Mr. Shroyer. Sophomore boys were excepiionally oulsfanding in sporls This year wilh Archie Eilierl, Lee Rho- den, Doug l-larris, Johnny Grimes, Fred Gallager, and Cliff Rosenbaum earning lheir lellers in fooi- ball. Those earning lellers in baslcelball during lhe baslcelball season were Johnny Grimes, Fred Galla- ger, Cliff Rosenbaum, Ralph Gale and Kern Gibson. Jackie Rye, Leland l-lale and Dean Merrick earned iheir leilers as managers. Many of The boys on lhe iunior varsily were from lhe sophomore class. Several assemblies in which compelilion yells were held were won by 'rhe sophomores, perhaps due 'ro lheir large amounl of nine+y-seven sludenls.
