June 15 1965 Dear Bonme I recewed your letter last week tellmg me that you would be unable to attend our class reumon because B111 Jr had the measles I w1ll try to g1Ve you an account of what happened at the Palace Hotel m Chlcago As you know the Palace Hotel on Superlor Street 1n Chmcago 15 owned and operated by Kenton M11ler He really was a wonderful host I guess Kent struck It r1ch on h1s o1l wells out west The hotel 15 a beaut1fu1 structure Bob Snowberger was the draftsman for the Job and Roger Ott the head carpenter and handy man Nancy Halsey and Marxlyn Maggart entertalned us Nancy sang songs old and new whxle Mar11yn accompamed her Everyone Jomed Nancy 1n smgmg Onward Cromwell wh1ch brought back memorxes of the good ole days Nancy 1S on a TV show on Wednesday and Thursday mghts Mar1lyn IS head nurse of the Mayo Cl1n1c 1n M1nnesota The marr1ed women gathered together 1n one corner and d1scussed marrxed l1fe and the problems confrontmg them as housew1ves Sue Kalb Mock and Juamta Rollms Felts were d1scuss1ng a new recezpe Sue found 1n Better Homes and Gardens Dorothy Baker our old pal 1S mal r1ed to the doctor she was med1cal secretary for at Memor1al Hosp1tal Dor1s Gene M1ller Campbell seems very happy and contented to be l1v1ng on thelr farm south of Cromwell John Johnson and Arthur K1stler were talkmg of the POSS1b111t16S of the Cubs tak1ng the World Ser1es next year lhese boys turned pro on us 1n a hurry Both are bachelors Geox ge Mur phy and Melvere Sheley are work1ng for the government George ma1l clerk for the B 8: O raxlroad Melvere works for the Flrst Natxonal Bank 1n Chxcago Some of our classmates d1d stay 1n and around our home town Cromwell Gerald Yoder runs hls own skatmg r1nk and he sa1d For sp1lls and thrxlls come to Gerald s Betty .To Peterson owns her own beauty shoppe She employs f1fteen glrls to ass1st her Maybe we should make an appomtment w1th her Donald Galloway 15 marrxed and owns a 250 acre farm south of Cromwell T1me out for d1nner Everyone was starvmg and dug m just lxke we d1d at Turkey Run Remember'P It was evxdent that the food was prepared by a gemus at work Who do you suppose th1s gemus turned out to be?
