jki STAFF RM3 STEPHEN WOLFF PHOTCWRAPHER SK3 COREY HUGHES ASST. EDITOR GMC(SW) LARRY WALTERS ADMSORCOORDP ATOR From the Advisor, This page is dedicated to the crew members who sacrificed their personal time and hard work ensuring the CROMMELIN crew received the best quahty book possible. As part of the cruise book statT, members were required to screen endless stacks of pictures and e en more endless stacks of clip art searching for the perfect items that best represented the division or group concerned. Selecting photos and clip art, designing layouts for pages, and blending them ail together to make the final copy was an extremely hard task that the stafl ' made look easy. A special thanks goes out to RM. Stephen Wolff for his extraordinary photographic skills. Without his tireless elTorts as the official cruise book photographer, many crew members, as well as, some really incredible scenerv would not be in this book. Special thanks also goes to SK3 Corey Hughes who dedicated many tedious hours checking, smix)thing and placing the fini-shing touches to ' numerous pages. My SinceresI thanks goes to the Chief Editor of the USS CROMMELIN West-Pac 96 Cruise Bt»k and my wife, Mrs. Nikki Walters. Her tireless dedication, exceptional organizational skills, and flawless attention to detail proved critical and pnceless in the creation of this book. As the Editor, she supervised staff members in the selection of pictures and clip art, as well as assisting with divisional write ups and other copy. She personally designed layouts for more than half of the pages in this book and typed more than three quarters of the copy. Working at home while the ship was at sea, she ensured that assignments were completed on time and the book stayed on schedule. During these at sea periods she also stood in as the book coordinator, working with Herf Jones personnel resolving problems and requesting materials. Without her efforts there would not be a cruise book.
