DEDICATION As head of the Athletic Department of C.H.S., Coach Raymond Haas has been the director in the making of many excellent athletic records. The outstanding achievement was the winning of the District 22AA football championship. In grateful appreciation for his wonderful efforts, which have done so much for Crockett High School, we would like to dedicate this, our 1961 Bulldog, to Coach Haas.

SUPERINTENDENT Soon you will be assuming the privileges of full citizenship and adulthood. These privileges carry with them certain responsibilities for which you must prepare yourself, for we are living in a world of great challenge and opportunity, but by the same token, one with many problems which it will fall your lot to help solve. It you are to continue with your education after you leave Crockett High School, be sure to do so, for an edu- cated population makes it possible for our country to meet the challenges and problems before us. As those of you who are senior graduates, you will either continue your education, go to work, and or establish a home. In doing so, be sure that you assume your share of the lead and do the best job you are capable of doing for that is the reputation you have gained as a student of C. H. S. Those of you who will be in our schools for a few more years will, I know, keep the fine record intact that has been established and will make us glad to have you as our representatives. Terrell W.
