You are actively engaged in academic class work and in the many extra-curricular activities of our school. The lessons learned in sportsmanship, respecting the rights of teachers and fellow students, and the grit and determination exhibited in doing the daily class- room tasks, will be worth far more to you than learn- ing a date in history or how to extract the square root of a number. Your future success depends upon how well you learn these lessons. The test of a man is the fight he makes. The grit that he daily shows; The way he stands on his feet and takes Fate's numerous bumps and blows. A coward can smile when there's naught to fear.
