DEDICATION It is with great pleasure that we, the 1978- 79 Yearbook Staff, dedicate this book to Mrs. Louise Watson. Mrs. Watson graduated from Murray State University with a B.S. and an M.S. in Business. She has taught in the Crit- tenden County School System for 26 years. She has sponsored the school newspaper, the Co-op program, FBLA, and the cheer- leaders. Mrs. Watson is never without a smile on her face or a few kind words to say. Her sense of humor and genuine concern for teaching has made her a favorite among the students at C.C.H.S. We thank Mrs. Watson for the years of dedi- cation that she has given to this school.

— PRINCIPAL’S ADDRESS 3 0 Before a rocket is launched, its direction is determined. Failure to plot a course in advance will result in the mission not being accomplished. Our school symbol, the Rocket, signifies direction, purpose and an upward thrust to achieve a higher goal. I sincerely hope that CCHS has provided you with some direction in the 1978-1979 school year, at least enough direction to successfully begin your lives after graduation. As surely as a rocket has a built-in guidance system for its direction, you too must develop a sense of direction. The purpose of CCHS has been and will be to provide you and your children with the knowledge to discover what you want and the basic skills and abilities to attain and keep you desires. CCHS is only the launching pad and the preparation for the flight. It is not the flight. Your stay here will end with a beginning, a commencement, that will launch you on some course.
