Letis take a look into the next ten years: Richard de Castro, eminent dentist, will be yanking out the wisdom UQ teeth of Richard Schiedegg, big time operator of Gatun Locks, while scrubwoman, Hedy Kellman, busily scrubs up the mess. Poor Hedy! Another person devoting his time to human suffering is the fabulous Dr. Villars, who is performing a new type of operation on Louie Hooper, big magnate, presiding over uThe Buckwheat Co., who, having the reputation of letting nothing get him down, meanwhile dictates important letters to his capable secretary, Gladys Schulte. Tom Harrison is giving his time to his ranch near Cativa with Jack Pescod, now known as HPancho, working with him. Marie Little is patiently twiddling her thumbs waiting for Tom lVIcGinn to return from his lecture tours. Speaking of waiting, Jimmy Dorsey is still waiting for Butch to graduate from the eighth grade and Harriet Hanna is patiently looking forward to Alex lVlichaud's graduat- ing from High School. Love must be grand! Peggy Mcllvaine fjust call me lVlabe-lj is selling tickets to the Toity Toid Street Teater owned by Frank Howard down in the Bowery where film actor, Bammies Halwany, is co- starring with movie celebrity, Joyce Malcolm, in their newest picture 6'Lush Love. This torrid love tale takes place in beautiful, fascinating Panama. Becky Dixon, the class of '47's only lawyer, has been quite busy lately, getting Kenneth Sether out of the caboose. The old boy just wonit keep away from the tracks. Speaking of the tracks, Jimmy Roe and Dick Chambers are doing quite well with their bookie shop. ln the field of science, we find HBlow ,em up Bigham and Sam Blackburn returning from a trial atomic explosion in Gatun Lake near Barro Colorado Island. Barro Colorado is the peaceful home of Walter Templin, who spends his leisure hours fishing and hunting like all nice hermits do. On the uNew York Times staff we find Editor Tom Dorgan busily answering phones, having his shoes shined by George Schulte, educated bumg dictating to his speedy twenty- word-a-minute Wonder of a secretary, Evelyn Frankel, and yelling for his copy-boy, all at one time. The copy-boy, John Buckley, is doing all right by himself, havin worked himself up from the bottom. lt took two good men to hold down Buckis old job of janitor, so reliable Bartley Wolfenstein and Jack Taylor were chosen. Gloria Bornefeld has made teaching her career and she is still trying to get Mac Brandl out of his Senior year. Helene Diaz, Joan Handshaw, and uZeke,, Campbell are happily married fsomebody's got to get marriedj and living on jungle army outposts. Lanky picked his gals from every corner of the globe, so, naturally, he couldn't miss Panama. Beverly Reeves is riding uGood Kittyi' in a wild west show. Bill Casswell, world re- nowned author of murder mysteries, and Helen Culpepper, president ofthe Salvation Army, are visiting Miss Nisla Aizpurua to inspect her world-famous collection of ancient classics. Harriet Keenan and Betty Jamesson are working side by side, and are attracting huge crowds as they defeat 'tennis champs all over the world in their rise to fame.
