During the summer the band performed at the Auglaize County and Ohio State fairs, the Lions ' Festival, two Lima parades, and a concert for the school ' s ice cream social. During the school year the band held their annual Christmas and spring concerts. They performed in a Halloween parade and the state- wide music contest. Part of the band played for Homecoming also. BEAUTY AND THE BEEF with a cast of eleven boys and twelve girls was presented by the senior class on October 24. The play, directed by Mrs. Dorothy Gosnell, told of the problems encountered by a pretty and intelligent teenage girl when she moved to a small town and tried to attract the captain of the high school football team. umi CIm TUtf THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE ' S FATHER was presented by the junior class on April 3, 1964.
