-l l5i2C3l3l-1ECY- the paper and it said that he had quite a fet race horses, had won many races, and was doing vcrv rell. I recall now that back in school he did have a couple Lo4eGS. I don't suppose that in high school he ever thought he'd make a career in this field. He has, hovever, achieved great success! Goodness me! Tho ever of us vould have thought when ve were in high schocl we rould someday really achieve fhet we wished to do af- ter our graduation in lQ47. Thile reading the sports section of the HCalifornia Gazettev last Sunday, I saw where Chio State college vas Quite prominent in bask- etball this year and who shouli he named as one of the coaches but NED MOWERY. The paper gave 1 .rief sketch of each of the coaches. Uf-Red, it said he had gone to the same college and had been Quite prominent in all the sports. I aementer, toO, that in school he had wanted to become a coach and his vish has been fulfilled. Imagine the surjrise I received the other dey then I glanced at the nevspaper and ter that my old alma Mater had a ticket to Colum- bus for state clarrionship in baskrttell. Since I had been given a few days off I decided to fly to columtus and see the game. It va really exciting especially vhen who should come out vith the team but an old classmate gpg DILRIIQQQ rho was coach of the Criders- ville team. Cridersville vas doing vell in this final gameaand as always bob was as happy as could be vhen the team was marked as the victor. His interest in hirh school sports had proved to be making success for his career. Well, I guess that concl des my rcninsing of the good old days in school. It has only been five years but many things have happened in those years. They have befi successful years and recalling all my schoolmates, they too have been successful. Perhaps one day in the near future ve can all meet together and talk and recall all the good times had during our years at Crilersville High! X
