JV's ACQUIRE FOOTBALL’S BASICS This year’s team, under the coaching of Mr. Gard, displayed a tremendous amount of energy and enthu- siasm, winning two of the five games they played. By changing team captains for each game, many of the players gained training in leadership and valuable ex- perience in playing football. BASKETBALL The Crewettes, coached by Mr. Robert Doyle, broke their last year’s record with 3 wins and 6 losses. With excellent supervision by the coach, the girls showed their athletic ability with vivacity. The lack of a gym hindered the girls to some extent, but their spirit was not dampened in any way. Sportsmanship and team- work was shown throughout the season by each indi- vidual player.
